Steel Wire Drawing Machines and Lines

Steel wire drawing machinery is evaluated as a line: wire rod pay-off and preparation, drawing blocks or capstans, lubrication/cooling, and the required take-up format.

Carbon, stainless, alloy, spring, fastener, fence, mesh, prestressing, or steel-cord directions require separate confirmation of product, diameter range, and process route.

Which machines and lines can be evaluated?

Dry drawing

Straight-line, bull-block, and inverted-vertical arrangements; block count, rotating die boxes, or rolling cassettes are matched to the route.

Wet drawing

A distinct process direction for different diameter, cooling, and lubrication conditions; it is not a synonym for dry drawing.

Wire rod preparation

Rod pay-off, mechanical descaling, brushing, belt sanding, borax/soap, drying, and pointing may be considered.

Finishing

Coiler, spooler, basket coiler

A coiler forms a coil, a spooler winds onto a spool, and a basket coiler collects into a suitable basket.

Prestressing or ribbed-wire directions require separate forming, stress-relief, and test confirmation.
